Whether your a/c system is new or old, it still needs regular service to keep it running at peak efficiency. Our 20-point annual maintenance check up is just want you need to help keep your system clean and efficient:
- Check thermostat operation (calibrate if applicable)
- Check contactor for pitting
- Check capacitors for proper MFD levels
- Check outdoor disconnect for corrosion – tighten connections as needed
- Check outdoor motor amps
- Check compressor amps
- Inspect the condenser coils. Flush with water if needed
- Check refrigerant pressures (super heat / sub cool)
- Add up to 1lb of refrigerant if needed
- Check temperature split across indoor coil
- Check indoor motor amps
- Spray indoor coil with self rinsing coil cleaner
- Vacuum flush drain line
- Wash or change customer provided filter
- Tighten and inspect all electrical connections
- Check float safety switch for proper operation
- Lubricate all moving parts per Manufacturer
- Inspect blower wheel for debris
- Inspect service valves for leaks
- Check system control safeties for proper operation
